■鸟类与病原体的协同演化（co-evolution）：结合野外调查与分子生物学技术，开展中国鸟类血孢子虫多样性及生物地理格局研究👐🏿🦶🏽，重建鸟类宿主与血孢子虫的协同演化历史，探究环境因素与系统进化过程对宿主-寄生虫关系动态变化的影响。
■鸟类的物种形成模式：利用系统基因组学方法😛，重建姬鹟属（Ficedula）、锦鸡属（Chrysolophus）和角雉属（Tragopan）中近缘物种的分化历史，探究塑造羽色性二态等表型差异的遗传机制🔨，更深入的理解自然选择和性选择在物种分化中的作用🈂️。
